Death
EASTLAND — Lucille Furr, 94, died Saturday at a local nursing home. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Bakker Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Joe Tom Poe officiating. Burial will be in Long Branch Cemetery. Mrs. Furr was born in Breckenridge and moved to the Long Branch community as a child. She moved to Eastland in 1966 and was employed by Eastland Memorial Hospital, retiring in 1974. She was a member of Long Branch Baptist Church from 1915-1966, when she joined First Baptist Church.
