Death
Services for Mrs. Olema Nanney Furr, 58, will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at McEwen West Chapel. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery. Mrs. Furr, of 3139 Dublin Road, died Saturday at Presbyterian Hospital. She was a member of the Harvest Temple Christian Church and the Adult Ladies’ Sunday School Class. Surviving are her husband, Herman; two sons, Herman Jr., of Birmingham, Ala., and Joseph, of Nashville, Tenn.; a daughter, Mrs. Betty Stone, of Matthews; a brother, Alton Nanney, of Shelby; and four grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 tonight at McEwen West Chapel.The Charlotte News, Charlotte, North Carolina, September 14, 1981
