Nancy Widenhouse Barrow MOORESVILLE -- Mrs. Barrow, of Stonemarker Rd., passed away Tuesday night, September 13, 2011 at her home. Her funeral will be 2 p.m. Friday at Epworth United Methodist Church in Concord officiated by Dr. Glenn Myers, Jr. Entombment will follow at Carolina Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at 1 p.m. Friday in the church parlor. Nancy was born March 30, 1932 in Concord to the late Augustus 'Gus' C. Widenhouse and Marie Furr Widenhouse. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Elzena Widenhouse Harvey and son-in-law, Mike Ritchie. Nancy was an officer in Widenhouse Companies. Her life revolved around being a caregiver to her husband and grandchildren, cooking and going to the beach. Nancy is survived by husband William Thomas 'Tom' Barrow; daughters, Darlene Barrow Ritchie of China Grove, and Sherry Barrow Henley and husband Bill of Mooresville; grandchildren, Hunter, Taylor, Kelly and Kendall Henley; sister, Linda Widenhouse Fink and husband Larry of Concord; special uncle, Paul Furr, Jr. of Concord; and a number of nieces and nephews. Memorials may be made to Hospice & Palliative Care of Catawba Valley, 3975 Robinson Rd., Newton, NC 28658; MABTA, P.O.
