Death
Kannapolis, March 27. — Funeral services for Mrs. Lillie Lee Smith, whose death occurred Monday afternoon at her home on Elm Street following several months of illness, were held Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the First Wesleyan Methodist Church, of which she was a member. The services were conducted by the pastor, Rev. C. K. Gentry, assisted by Rev. J. C. Brown, of Concord, and the interment was made in Greenlawn Cemetery, near China Grove. Mrs. Smith was the wife of A. L. Smith and was 35 years of age. Surviving, in addition to her husband, is one daughter, Thelma Smith.The Charlotte News, Charlotte, North Carolina, March 27, 1930
