Death
Concord, Feb. 13. — Funeral services for Miss Ruth Estelle Furr, 16, of Kannapolis, who died Tuesday in Lowery Hospital, Salisbury, from septic sore throat, were held at 11 o'clock Thursday morning in Trinity Methodist Church, Kannapolis. Miss Furr was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. LeRoy Furr, and in addition to her parents is survived by one brother, Hal Furr. She had been ill only a short time and her death came as a distinct shock to her many friends and relatives.Winston-Salem Journal, Winston-Salem, North Carolina, February 15, 1935
