Death

Mrs. Mary Isbelle Furr, age 70, of 5912 Tuckaseegee Road, died Friday night June 25, 1965, in a local hospital. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Sunday, McEwen West Chapel with Rev. Ted Wehmeyer associate pastor of the Mulberry Presbyterian Church officiating, of which she was a member. Burial will be in Sharon Presbyterian Church Cemetery. Born July 6, 1894 in Mecklenburg County she was the daughter of Mrs. Katie S. Baker and the late James T. Baker. Surviving are four sisters, Mrs. Myrtle Teague, Mrs. C. B. Small, Mrs. Steve Graves, all of Charlotte, Mrs. A. W. Niemer of Spartanburg, S. C.; two brothers, J. L. Baker of Charlotte, H. T. Baker of Newell and one grandson, Danny Furr. Nephews will serve as pallbearers. The family will be at the home of the Mother, 2228 Springdale Ave.
