ALBEMARLE — Mr. Freeman Lane Russell, 55, southern district manager for Mines Co., died Friday. Funeral is 3 p.m. today at Anderson Grove Baptist Church. Survivors are wife, Bettyjo; sons, Freeman Russell Jr. of Mobile, Ala., William Russell of Auburn, Ala.; daughter, Mrs. Deborah Easley of Fort Myers, Fla.; mother, Mrs. Fannie Russell of Norwood; brothers, Paul Russell of Orange, Va., Cardell Russell of Charlotte; sisters, Mrs. Nellie White of Evergreen, Mrs. Edith Stephens of Lumberton, Mrs. Mary Ferguson of Norwood, Mrs. Rachel Lefler of New London.
