KANNAPOLIS - Paul Wilson Furr, 86, of 805 Margate Ave., died Monday, July 30, 2007, at Five Oaks Manor. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, at Hartsell Funeral Home Chapel, Concord. The funeral service will follow at 8:30 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Mr. Furr was born April 9, 1921, in Stanly County the son of the late Clyde Wilson Furr and the late Sophronia (Brooks) Furr. He had been employed by Jones Construction, Charlotte, as a construction worker. He was preceded in death by his wife, Cora Lee (Starnes) Aycock Furr; and a brother, Roscoe David Furr. Survivors include his daughter, Marlaine (Furr) Osborne of Kannapolis; grandchildren, Mitchell and Cindy Osborne, Marty Osborne, Robin Waters, Floyd Osborne and Ray Osborne; and three great-grandchildren.
