JONESBORO — Burlin James Furr, 72, of Apache Junction, Ariz., formerly of Jonesboro, retired security guard for Arkansas State University, died Friday at Desert Samaritan Hospital in Mesa, Ariz. Services at 1 p.m. today at Citizens Funeral Home of West Memphis; burial in Potter Memorial Cemetery in Lepanto. He leaves his wife, Mrs. Leotta Mae Furr; a daughter, Leah Raymella Rider of Jacksonville, Ala., and two sons, Nole Furr of Kansas City, Kan. and James B.
