Death
HATTIESBURG, July 6. — The body of Millege Othetus Furr, 49 years of age, veteran passenger train conductor for the Mississippi Central railroad, was buried in the Center cemetery at Kosciusko, this afternoon at 3 o’clock. The body was carried to the home of his father, Thomas D. Furr, from here. Mr. Furr was one of the most popular conductors on the Mississippi Central railroad, having had charge of a passenger train for many years. For the past two months he has been seriously ill at the Methodist hospital and death came at 9:25 o’clock Sunday night. The only survivors are his father, Thomas D. Furr, and one son, Othetus Harold Furr, of Hialeah, Fla.Clarion-Ledger, Jackson, Mississippi, July 7, 1927
