CHAPEL HILL — Funeral for Woodrow Craig Furr Jr., 22, of Chapel Hill was held Friday at 2 p.m. at Walker's Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Ervin Cooke. Burial was in Guilford Memorial Park in Greensboro. Mr. Furr died from injuries received in an auto accident when his car overturned on RPR 1525 about 10 miles south of Carrboro Wednesday about 5:10 p.m. Surviving are his parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. Craig Furr Sr. of Bristol, Va.; and grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Grover C. Furr Sr. of Greensboro, former High Point residents.The High Point Enterprise, High Point, North Carolina, June 14, 1975
