Death
Estelle Furr Barrier, 86, of Five Oaks Nursing Center, formerly of Hwy. 200, Georgeville, died July 3, 1995, in Five Oaks Nursing Center. Her funeral was at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Carolina Memorial Park. The Rev. G. Melvyn Curlee officiated. She was born April 7, 1909, in Cabarrus County and was a daughter of the late D. Henry and Vyola Kibbler Furr. Her husband, Boyd Lee Barrier, preceded her in death. She is survived by two daughters, Doris B. Tucker of Midland and Anne B. Fisher of Concord; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Memorials may be made to Alzheimers Association, 3420 Shamrock Dr., Charlotte, NC. 28215.
