Death
Catherine Aldridge Furr 56 of Albemarle died Monday, March 24, 2014 at CMC-Main. Funeral services will be held at 6:00PM Thursday in Edwards Funeral Home Chapel in Norwood. Rev. Kevin Simmons will officiate. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 6:00 Thursday Afternoon at the funeral home. Cathy was born November 24, 1957 in Stanly County. She was a daughter of the late E. Stansil and Catherine Taylor Aldridge. She worked for many years at Pfeiffer University Cafeteria. She was preceded in death by her husband Sherrill Lee Furr. She is survived by her sons, Zachary and Elliot Furr both of Richfield. One sister, Debbie Aldridge Blalock of Albemarle and one granddaughter, Paislee Furr.Endnotes
