ALBEMARLE — Billy Max Furr, 58, of 20128 Tyson Road, died Tuesday (Aug 3, 1993) at Stanly Memorial Hospital. A graveside memorial service will be held at 10 am Friday at the National Cemetery of Salisbury. The family will be at Hartsell Funeral Home Albemarle, on Thursday night from 7 to 8 30. Born July 17, 1935, in Stanly County, Furr was a son of the late Fred and Ida Mae Burleson Furr. A painter, he was last employed by John Driscol Co of New Orleans. He was a US Army veteran of the Korean conflict. Survivors include two sons. M. Keith and Kevin M Furr, both of Albemarle, a half brother, Roger Endy of Albemarle, a half sister, Linda E York of Albemarle, and four grandchildren.ALBEMARLE — Mr. Billy Ray Furr, 58, painter, died Aug. 3, 1993, at Stanly Memorial Hospital. Funeral is 10 a.m. Friday at Salisbury National Cemetery. Visitation is 7 to 8:30 tonight at Hartsell Funeral Home. Survivors are his sons, Keith Furr, Kevin Furr; half brother, Roger Eudy; half sister, Mrs. Linda York.
