SERVICES AT EAST PEARL FOR ARMSTRONG INFANT
Services were conducted at the East Pearl Baptist Chirch Thursday afternoon.
June 4 1959 at 2 o'clock for Marsha Faith Armstrong, the 18-day old daughter
of Wilton E. and Effie Laverne Burge Armstrong.
Marsha Faith died June 3 at 05:30 AM Wednesday morning at the Base Hospital of Keesler A.F.B. Biloxi Ms. Mr. Armstrong is in the U.S. Air Force
and stationed at Chanutte A.F.B. Ill. and had come home on leave for his baby's
birth. The baby was born May 16 1959 in the Pearl River County hospital.
Officiating for the funeral services were Rev. Jimmie Lee, pastor, assisted by Rev. O.H. Petty, pastor of Steep Hollow Baptist Church. Burial was in the
East Pearl cemetery Jenkins Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangerments
Pallbearers were Jackie Rester, Frankie Buckley, Glen Russey, and Larry
Dedeaux.
Survivors besides her parents, are the praternal grandparents Mr and Mrs Hollis& Allie Smith of Steep Hollow, and Maternal grandparents Mr. and Mrs.
Roy & Emery Burge of Progress communty
