Death

John Phillip McClard left this world for a better place at the age of 69 on Sunday, Sept. 13, 2009. There will be no more suffering or pain from his cancer. There will be a memorial service Saturday, Sept. 19, at 10 a.m. at Val's in Maurepas, for information call (225) 695-6426 or (225) 955-0636. Donations will be accepted in lieu of flowers at Regions Bank of Louisiana, c/o Belinda Molina. Preceded in death by his mother, Opal Johnnie Furr. Survived by his ex-wife, Patsy McClard, mother of Shaun Buck McClard and fiancée Brandi Hebert, and stepfather to Sandra Johnson and Dennis Fuller, Michael Farrar, Belinda and Hijinio Molina along with ex-wife, Paulette Grills, mother of John Eric and Leta McClard, Gregg Glynn and Donna McClard. Also survived by 15 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
