Death
ACKERMAN -- Funeral services for Lee Furr, 20, wil be held Tuesday at 1 a.m. at the Ackerman United Methodist Church. Buried will follow in the Enon Cometery. Adam Funeral Home in Ackerman in charge of all arrangements. Mr. Furr died as a result of drowning at a pond near Ackerman. He was a junior at Mississippi State, where he majored in business administraton. Furr was a former football player on the Ackerman football team. He was a member of Ackerman Methodist Church. Survivors include his mother, Mrs. Maude Gillis Furr of Ackerman; one brother, John Furr, also of Ackerman; two sisters, Miss Jean Furr of Ackerman and Mrs. Judy Sollie of Starkville; his paternal grandmother, Mrs. D. M. Hawkins, Sr. of Union Church; and a numberof aunts and uncles.Endnotes
