Death
Laly F. Furr, a 41-year Caruthers resident, died March 7. She was 53. A service was held Monday at First Pentecostal Church of God in Fresno. Burial was in Fresno Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Furr was born in Oklahoma and was the owner of the Jolly Laly Clothing Store for 25 years. She is survived by her husband, Glen “Sonny;” a son, Michael Furr of Caruthers; two daughters, Carla Cox and Cynthia Furr, both of Caruthers; her father, E.M. Replogle of Fresno; three brothers, Arles H. Replogle of Oklahoma, Paul P. Replogle of Pine Ridge and George D. Replogle of Fresno; four sisters, Myrtle L. Higgins of McKinleyville, Lois M. Burco of Oregon, Mary A. Harvell of Fresno and Margaret A. Hamilton of Sacramento; and three grandchildren.The Selma Enterprise, Selma, California, March 14, 1985
