Death
Services for Mrs. Margaret Furr Chaney, 47, of 629 South Church street, were conducted this afternoon at 3 o'clock at the J. M. Harry funeral chapel by Father Phillip Tierney of St. Peter's Catholic church. Mrs. Chaney died yesterday morning at a local hospital after a short illness. Burial was made in Forest Lawn cemetery. Pallbearers were Z. W. Kindley, D. W. Gordon, O. H. Starnes, M. B. Phillips, S. M. Breen and C. A. Dixon, Jr. Mrs. Chaney is survived by three children, Margaret June, Harry L., and Clifton A. Chaney, all of this city; three sisters, Mrs. Wilma Moss and Mrs. Patri Bowman of Greensboro, and Mrs. Lee Trull, of Charlotte; a half sister, Mrs. Lonnie Helms, of Charlotte and three half brothers, D. L. Furr, of Union county and Paul and Oscar Furr of Ocala, Florida.The Charlotte News, Charlotte, North Carolina, November 6, 1935
