Death
Little John Furr, the eleven-year-old son of Mr. A. J. Furr of Goose Creek township, died in St. Peter's Hospital in Charlotte last Wednesday of appendicitis. The little boy was carried to the hospital last Monday for an operation, but his condition was such that it was thought best not to operate.The Monroe Journal, Monroe, North Carolina, January 2, 1906
