STANFIELD ~ Ivy Ella Furr, 19, of 326 Yorktown Road, Lexington Park, Md., died yesterday in Children's Hospital in Washington, D.C. She was the granddaughter of Mr and Mrs Millard Furr of Rt. 1, Stanfield. Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Bear Creek Primitive Baptist Church with Virgil Hale and elder Cliff Allen officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The body will be taken to the home of her grandparents on Rt 1, Stanfield at 4 pm Friday. The body will be placed in the church 30 minutes before the service. Born Aug 14, 1957 in Brown County, Texas, she was the daughter of Roy Davis and Ivy Ella Summers Furr of Lexington Park, Md. She graduated second in a class of 300 at Great Mills High School. Her last year in high school was completed at home where she was disabled. In addition to her parents she is survived by a brother, Roy Davis Furr Jr of University of Maryland, College Park, Md., and her maternal grandmother, Mrs Ivy Summer, of Bangs, Texas.Endnotes
