Death
Leola Almond Furr, 88, of Albemarle, passed away Tuesday, September 25, 2018 at her home. Mrs. Furr was born October 31, 1929 in Stanly County to the late Lewis Almond and the late Gatha Lambert Almond. She was also preceded in death by husband, Robert Vernon Furr; brother, Richard Almond and sister, Brenda Almond. Survivors include son, Bruce (Beckie) Furr of Albemarle; daughters, Elaine (Perry) Hinkle of Durham and Sherry (Randy) Ross of Charlotte; grandchildren, Jacob Vernon (Lindsey) Furr, Kyle Furr, Luke Furr, Kathryn Ross (Matt) Jones, and Sarah Ross; 6 great grandchildren. Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle is serving the Furr family.Endnotes
