Death
FARMERSVILLE - Mrs. Thelma O'Neil Robinson of Farmersville passed away Tuesday in McKinney after a lengthy illness. She was born April 10, 1925 in Greenville, the daughter of Edward and Nanny Hartley O'Neil. She married Eugene C (Sandy) Robinson on Oct. 23, 1970 in Oklahoma. She was a member of the Christian Church and was a homemaker and served as the site manager of the Farmersville Senior Citizens Center until her retirement. She is survived by two daughters, Sharon Crump and husband George of Farmersville, and Paula Ashlock of Denver, Colo. She is also survived by three grandchildren, Todd Crump of Fort Worth, Tiffany Hesse and husband Michael of Farmersville and Jessica Halstead and husband Nick of Denver, Colo. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Vela O'Neil of Garland and was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Deward and Herman O'Neil and her husband Sandy Feb. 1, 2006. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at the Hurst's Fielder Baker Chapel in Farmersville with Rev. Doyle Henderson and Rev. Jimmy Guvvala officiating and burial will be in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Farmersville. Visitation will be from 6 -8 p.m. Thursday at the Hurst's Fielder Baker Funeral Home in Farmersville.Published in The Herald Democrat on March 17, 2011
