Hartsell, D. F. (age 22), son of Huston and Gincy Hartsell, married B. A. Furr (20), dau of D. M. and Elizabeth Furr, on 18 February 1875. On the 1880 census, the household prior to Benona's is that of her widowed mother, Elizabeth Furr.
Doctor F. Hartsell was also on the 1880 census. He was living in his brother Jonas W. Hartsell's household.
According to the Hartsell Family history by Eunice Sechler, Doctor Franklin Hartsell and Benona Furr had two children and then they separated. They reconciled prior to 1890 when their third and last child was born. Doctor F. died sometime between 1890 and 1896. Benona died 20 June 1945. Leah lcsims@eskimo.com
