Death
Mrs. Colon Gretha Furr, age 32, wife of Jackson A. Furr of Stanfield, route 1, died Saturday night at 10 o'clock in the Stanly General hospital after a short illness. The deceased, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. T. Huneycutt of Oakboro, route 1, was a member of Bethel Baptist church. Funeral service was conducted there Monday morning at 11 o'clock by Rev. C. C. Huneycutt, assisted by Rev. Vernon Cornell and Elder T. C. Mills. Burial was made in the church cemetery. Surviving in addition to her husband and parents are two brothers, Joe Lee Huneycutt, Oakboro, route 1; and Craig Huneycutt, U.
