Death
FURR — Mrs. Effie C. Town send Furr, age 76, of Dallas Road, Powder Springs, died Monday morning. Surviving are five daughters, Mrs. Ernest Wallace, East Point; Mrs. William Hansard, Lithia Springs; Mrs. Leon Reece, Marietta; Mrs. Etta Marchman and Mrs. Pearl Mathis, Villa Rica; seven sons, Mr. Ralph Furr, Mr. Roy Furr, Marietta; Mr. Ernest Furr, Jacksonville, Fla.; Mr. Robert Furr, Douglasville; Mr. George Furr, Mr. Grady Furr, Powder Springs; Mr. Rader Furr, Atlanta; 16 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Larkin Hill, Atlanta; two brothers, Mr. Dave Townsend, Atlanta; Mr. Dewey Townsend, Virginia; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 3 o'clock Tuesday afternoon in the chapel of Albert M. Dobbins Funeral Home, Marietta, Rev. R. L. Eidson and Rev. Howard A. Walker officiating. Interment, Kennesaw Memorial Park Cemetery. Pallbearers will please meet at the funeral home at 2:45 p.m.The Atlanta Constitution, Atlanta, Georgia, October 15, 1963
