RUSH SPRINGS -- Funeral for Annie Lee Aaron Furr, 68, Rush Springs, will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in Southern Baptist Church with the Rev. Joe Capps, Vimy Ridge, and the Rev. Walter Knox, retired pastor, officiating. Mrs. Furr was found dead Saturday at her home from a natural illness. Burial will be in Rush Springs Cemetery under direction of Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral Home. She was born May 21, 1923, in Bowie, Texas. She had lived in the Rush Springs for the past 46 years, and had been employed as a nurse. She married James Alton Furr July 28, 1944, in Stamford, Texas. He died April 9, 1987. Mrs. Furr was a member of Rebekah Lodge and Vimy Ridge Baptist Church. Survivors include two daughters: Kaye Dorman, Rush Springs; and Norma Jo Farmer, Marlow; three sisters: Ruth Peets, Indianapolis, Ind.; Dolly Davis, Oklahoma City; and Brenda Manning, Tuttle; and five grandchildren.Lawton Constitution, Lawton, Oklahoma, January 13, 1992
