Death

Jessie S. Dixon, Ventura, Ventura Co., CA

Our beloved Jessie Sylvia Lea Linker Dixon, passed into heaven on Thursday, Feb. 26, 2004, surrounded by the love of her family, at her daughter's residence in Ventura.
Mrs. Dixon was born Nov. 14, 1916, in Holdenville, Okla., and had been a resident of California since 1940.

She is survived by her son Robert Dixon of Oxnard, daughters, Shirley Brown of Oxnard, and Janet and her husband Phil Crow of Ventura, brothers R.J., and Alton Linker of Oklahoma; beloved sister-in-law, Barbara Linker of Oklahoma; 12 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; and many friends and admirers.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 59 years, Jesse Dixon; beloved son Eugene Dixon and his sons Gary Eugene and Kenneth; and her brothers Ernest, Kenneth, and Clarence Linker.

We are left with broken hearts for the loss of a wonderful soul that blessed us and left us the legacy of unconditional love she gave us all.

Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, March 2, at Ted Mayr Funeral Home, 3150 Loma Vista Road, Ventura.
Services will take place at 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 3, also at Ted Mayr Funeral Home, with the Rev. Jonathan Mulford officiating. Private burial will follow at Ivey Lawn Memorial Park, where she will be laid to rest next to her beloved husband.
