Death
Mrs. Rhoda L. Patterson, 85, of Allen, died at her home at noon Monday, April 10, after an illness extending over more than six years. Rev. George Wood, pastor of the First Baptist church in Allen, conducted the funeral services from the church there at 3:00 p. m., Tuesday. Interment was in Allen cemetery, under direction of the Criswell Funeral Home. Surviving Mrs. Patterson are two sons, W. A. Patterson of Ada, and Jesse Patterson of Henryetta; four daughters, Miss Ellen Patterson, Mrs. Kate Caton and Mrs. Dollie Dyson, all of Allen, and Mrs. Jane Campbell, of Holdenville; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.The Ada Bulletin, Ada, Oklahoma, April 13, 1939
