On Aug 8, 1797, Tobias Furr qualified, in the Rowan County Court, as guardian for John, Peter, George, and James Aaronhart, "orphans of John Aaronhart" and on the same day Henry Furr qualified as guardian for Paul and Solomon Aaronhart, "orphans of John Aaronhart." On Feb 7, 1798, Tobias Furr Having died, Henry Furr qualified as guardian for George Aaronhart and Moses Brown (son of Michael Braun of the Old Stone House) qualified as guardian for John, Peter, and James Aaronhart.

Death
John Earnhardt's name is spelled Arnhart in his will which was probated in Rowan County, NC. He died young leaving six sons which were assigned guardians by the court. These six are referred to as the orphan Earnhardts. His common name was John Earnhardt. Johannes was born in Lowhill Township, Northampton County, Pennsylvania, on 25 February 1765.1 He was the son of Johann Jürg Ehrenhardt and Maria Margaretha Heilman. He was baptized in Weissenburg Union Church, Lowhill Township, Northampton County, Pennsylvania, on 1 March 1765. Religion: Lutheran.1 He married Catharine Furr circa 1788 in Rowan County, North Carolina. He was a Farmer in Rowan County, North Carolina. He made a will in Rowan County, North Carolina, on 8 May 1795. In the name of God Amen.
This the 16 day of June in the year one thousand eight hundred and seventeen I George Earnhart of the county of Rowan and the state of North Carolina being of sound and perfect mind and memory blessed be God do make and ordain this my last will and testament in the manner and form following viz:
1. I desire my body to be buried in a deasent manner at the direction of my Excecutors and as tuching (touching) such wordly goods wherewith it hath pleased God to bless me with in this life I give devise and dispose of in the following that is to say after my last debts is paid funeral-----rays. My wife Frany is to have full possession of my dwelling house and all necessary building(s) with the use of my farm and all of my moveable estate and I desire she shall keep together all my moveable estate with peaceable possessions of my home plantation only what she can----------iedly speare for purpose of supporting my said wife and children.
2. I give an(d) bequeath into my daughter Barbary the sum of sixty dollars wich she has received it in hand.
3. I give an(d) bequeath unto my daughter Seavel the sum of five shillings.
4. I give and bequeath to my son John's children the sum of five shillings
5. I give an(d) bequeath to my son George the sum of five shillings.
6. I give and bequeath to my daughter Elizabeth the sum of thirty dollars.
7. I give an(d) bequeathto my daughter Mary the sum of five shillings
8. I give and bequeath to my beloved wife Frany all the money and not(e)s that is money due to be her own (during her lifetime and after her deth it is to fall to my sevala groves and if any of them would die without lawful heirs there parts is to fall to my son Henry Earnhart.
9. And it is my will that my three sons shall pay each of them so much Jacob Earnhard is to pay one hundred dollars and PhillipEarnhart is to pay one hundred dollars and Henry Earnhart is to pay one hundred dollars to(wa)rds there land to the estate.
10. I give an(d) to my three sons namely Jacob Phillip Henry Earnharts my plantation whereon I now live to be devied amongst my three sons. Jacob is to have one hundred and fifty eakers joining John Shuman's line and lawrence Trexler's line and fifty eakers of pine land from the plantation where I got from Woodson and my son Phillip is to have one hundred eakers joining Jacob Dillow's line and fifty eakers of pine land of the tract affore said and Henry Earnhart is to have two hundred and sixty one eakers with the improvements on and sixty eakers of pine land of the tract aforesaid.
11. I give an(d) bequeath to my son Chrisstofel the plantation where I got Rumple two hundred eakers joining Tanrell line.
12. I give an(d) bequeath to my daughter Christeny one bed and furnature one chist (and) one spinning wheel.
13. I give and dispose of my three sons Jacob Phillip Earnharts the chois of keeping of my sevela groves bt wich the see cause to stay with and make an(d) ordain that my son Henry Earnhart shall furnish my three sevela groves with good sufficient clothing and wictory and loding during there said lifetime and not to be intitled to sell or dispose of said land or any part of it without complining with the maintenance of the said three sevela groves.
14. And after my wife's deth my son shall be intitled eithe(r) to pay of(f) every ones part and keep the personable property or els(e) to put as much to sail at public vendue as will pay of(f) the same shears as afore mentioned and remeander to be his own namely Henry Earnhart.
15. Do constitute make and ordain my beloved frends Peter Cable and Georg Miller my sole executors of this my last will and testament and hereby revoke and make void all former wills b----- ratifying and conferming this and no other to be my last will and testament in witness whereof I the said George Earnhart here unto set my hand and affix my seal this day and year first above written.
Signed sealed pernounsed and delivered to be the last will and testament of said Georges in the persons of us.

2nd Will of John Arnhart
Be remembering all men by these presents in the name of God Amen. I, John Arnhart of Rowan County being of sound and perfect mind and memory blessed by God I do this 8th day of May in the year of our lord one thousand sevin hundred and ninety five maik and publish this my last Will and Testamint in manner following. That is to say first I give and bequeth my beloving Wife Catharina Arnhart one bed and bolstairs belongan to the said bed if she marris or not to allow hir panshoan an the plantation, three cows and all the hogs and housiol things, the beds, Puter, Iron pots and all necessary things for her hous kiping and the cash of all my houses which one she will take and grane nesacary for her family for the first year. Those above mentioned artickels she shall have poshoan of the same and services thereof while she continues in my name, a widow, or her deth and then the above mentioned things is to fall back to the children and when she marries or dise the property falling back from her it shall be sold agreeable to law and equalley divided amunsts them all, as when they become of age and the land I do desiur to be rented out till my children come of age then any two of them may take it at two hundred and fifty pounds and then pay back to the others so as to form an equal part imparshal to them and after hir marrigh ordeth the childrenis not of age they shall be put to good trades and good larning to begiven to them and the property that is not mentioned is to be sold aggreable to law an credit to be given with takin good notes and security for the money and do hereby maik and ordain my friend
