LAS VEGAS, Nev. — Mrs. Elois Johnson Dieterman, 54, of Las Vegas, formerly of the Ogden area, died Tuesday, July 12, 1977, of injuries suffered in a fire at her home. Mrs. Dieterman was born Sept. 26, 1922, in Hooper, a daughter of Sydney L. and Amy Thompson Johnson. She was married to Thomas Berryessa. They were later divorced. She was married to Edgar Furr. They were also divorced. She was married to Andrew Edward Dieterman Jr. in June of 1965 in Las Vegas. He died July 12, 1977. She retired from the Pentagon in Washington, D.C., and had been a world traveler. She was educated at Weber County schools and graduated from Ogden High School. She was a member of the LDS Church and Roy Elks Auxiliary. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Rex (Leslie Gale) Martin, Ogden; Mrs. James (Kathy) Abston, Houston, Tex.; five grandchildren; her mother of Ogden; one brother and one sister, Sidney L. Johnson, Ogden; Mrs. Melvin (Melba) Sowerby, Layton. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at Lindquist and Sons Colonial Chapel in Ogden. Friends may call at the mortuary Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturday prior to services. Interment in the Aultorest Memorial Park.The Ogden Standard-Examiner, Ogden, Utah, July 14, 1977
