Death
Funeral services for Albert G. Conn, Sr., 64, of 4203 Wainwright street, will be conducted at 3:00 p. m. Saturday at Wright Ferguson chapel, with the Rev. William W. Causey, assistant pastor of Parkway Baptist church, and the Rev.J. D. Nazary, pastor of West Jackson Baptist church, officiating. He had been ill for several months and died at 7:30 p. m, Thursday at the veterans hospital, where he had been a patient since June 16. He was a native of Copiah county, but had lived in Jackson for the past 31 years. He was a veteran of World War I, a member of Pearl Lodge, and a member, and trustee of Carpenters Local No. 1471. His survivors include one son, Albert G. Conn, Jr., of Jackson; six daughters, Mrs. Lyman C. Goings, Mrs. Barney Rushing, Mrs. John McDaniel, Miss Jackie Conn, all of Jackson, Mrs. Martin Schwartz, of Philadelphia, Pa., and Mrs. W. 0. Stubblefield, of Washington, D. C.; one sister, Mrs. F. L. Phillips and one brother, Henry W. Conn, both of Jackson; and five grandsons. Interment will be made in Cedar Lawn cemetery, with Masonic rites at the graveside.Endnotes
