Sally Bailey is the daughter of Abraham Bailey as evidenced by his note to the Clerk of Franklin County, Kentucky on 18 November 1816 giving his permission to Stephen Brown to marry his daughter.


The will of Stephen Brown mentions his wife, Sarah Brown, his sons, William, Sanford and Dandridge Brown, his granddaughters, Helen, Ruthann and Mildred Spears (and their mother Nancy Spears, who I assume was his daughter).


The big question is whether Sally Bailey is the same person as Sarah Brown mentioned in the will.
