From KA: I was searching Hicks today and came across your tree. I am writing hoping that this finds you "not Cranky Today". My grandmother was Eva Winslow, b. 1875, Benezette, daughter of William K. and Mary Martha Johnston Winslow. William K. was the son of Charles and Rebecca Hicks Winslow, so you and I share a Hicks line. I remember that one of my grandmother's friends was Ida English. I have done extensive work on the Hicks line but have not been able to get back further than John Hicks, killed 1755, and his wife, Barbara. Some interesting history.

I would be delighted to share information with you. I'm aware of Charles and Rebecca Hicks, but did not of a daughter Mary Martha. So your information will certainly add to my collateral lines. I also do not have a John Hicks, so that will be an important addition for me.
