Of the 2 Casparus, this was determined to be the one that moved to Rennsalaer County, and also was s.o. Tjerck. Key was a birth record of triplets to Casparus and wife in 1803 in Poughkeepsie, noting the family was nine children. This Casparus already had 9 children before 1796. Also, 1803 Casparus still lived in Poughkeepsie, and the other Casparus had already moved to Rennsalaer. Since baptismal records establish the other Casparus to be the son of Cornelius, still living in Poughkeepsie, and married to Sarah Weaver, it follows that Casparus, son of Tjerck, married Maria Ostrum and moved to Rennsalaer. The death record projects his year of birth.
