Marriage
The record is made out for "Edward". However, a note added below indicates that he was born as "Edwin". The record gives the father's name as Nathanael and witnesses as Timothy Lardner and Rachel Lardner. These names agree with the names of his father and two of his siblings.The record says they were both of "full age" which legally meant at least 21. However, many rectors interpreted this as age of consent, which varied.
Note that the record was originally filled out for "Larner" but then crossed out and a new record made. This may have been a common error.
