John LOVEJOY

Rowland Lovejoy born Christmas Eve in 1598 was the son of John Lovejoy, a Goldsmith and Cecilia Lovejoy. He was born in the parish of St Mary Woolnoth, Lombard Street, London, England and baptized there on 7 Apr 1599. He married Elizabeth Neale, daughter of Symon Neale on the 7th of May in 1620. After the marriage the couple resided on Milk Street in the parish of St Mary Church, Aldermanbury, Wood Street - Alderman's Walk, London. They were the parents of Robert Lovejoy born 12 Feb 1621 and baptized St Mary Aldermanbury, London. John born 18 Jun 1622 and baptized St Mary Aldermanbury, London. George Lovejoy born 1623. Elizabeth Lovejoy baptized 21 Mar 1624 St Mary Aldermanbury, London. Simon Lovejoy born 18 Nov 1626 and baptized St Mary Aldermanbury, London.
