Marriage
This marriage seems suspect because children came so much later. I found an unsourced item on the internet that said that Basil's first wife was Eliza Price, married 30 Dec 1831. It also stated that the children of Eliza were Matilda, John T and William P.It also said that Matilda married William W Moore and had children: Emily C (1854), Mary L (1856), and John W (1858)!!!
It states that there is an account of the distribution of Basil's will filed with the Registrar of Wills on 11 Sep 1861.
Perhaps Mary Norriss married a different Basil Tarlton, or, possibly she died without children.
