"(There was another unidentified John Lewis in Plymouth Colony too old to be a son of the above John. He was a servant of Mr. Vassall on 2 March 1646/7, was in trouble with the court on 9 June 1653, and had "departed this government" by 6 March 1654/5 [Plym. Col. Rec., 2:111, 3:36, 74].)"

and on p 28:
"(There was another John Lewis in Boston at the same time."
