Notes
Alt name
Great Migration, vol. 4, p. 116 says that her maiden name is unknown. "Jordan" is the name of her 2nd husband.Merrill Memorial, pp. 159-61 has a discussion of the mistake and considers the possibility that her maiden name was Wilterton.
Alt name
Some sources speculate that this is her maiden name, because her oldest son, Nathaniel, went to Connecticut with Gregory Wilterton, who, when he died, left most of his property to Nathaniel. There does not seem to be any proof, though.Endnotes
