Residence
The cross-out on Henrietta's name suggests the possibility of a brief marriage to someone named Horan. There are many Horan's in the city directories of the time. An examination of the directories 1895-1899 and 1901 (1900 is missing) turns up no widow listing for a Harriet Horan, nor does it list a Horan living at the same address as the 1900 address for the Van Kuren family.The transcribers for Ancestry read the tiny lettering as "daughter-in-law" suggesting that this Henrietta is the wife of son Edward, but that seems wrong because she is 17 years older than him.
