Studebaker family history, Book I, indicates that David and Magdalena were in Miami County OH by 1816. David died in 1831 and the Studebaker history quotes records that Magdalena "paid $6 for coffin on October 28, 1831" and "$4.43 for goods for funeral" on November 22, 1831.Marriage
