Marriage
In addition to the 14 children listed in the HAYS family genealogy by Mary Frances NEIDERHISER Allen, she also notes that the "1850 census shows listing 'Polly -- 18f - b. 1832."I find this information doubtful because her mother would only have been 12 years old in 1832. (mshr)

Mary Frances NEIDERHISER Allen notes: "Records show that James and Peter Hays are buried at Tarrs, PA -- Mt. Lebanon Cemetery. Other records show three brothers named Peter Hays, Samuel Hays, and Abraham Hays buried at Tarrs PA." Sept 1982.Endnotes
