Jacob Lellman
( - Aft 1663)
General information on the Lellman family:
Two farms, Scheidterhof and Weidenhof, both belonging to the parish of Kobern, property of the Counts von-der-Leyen and Gondorf respectively, were connected to the Lellman family. The two farmyards were managed by:
Mathias Lellmann, married to Barbara before 1641, members of St. John's fraternity in Kobern about 1650. They were parents of at least two sons, Johanne and Johann Balthasar and one daughter Elisabeth. The son Johannes, the grandson Philipp, the great-grandson Jacob and the great-great grandson Carl were also lessees on Scheidterhof.
Cornelius Lellmann, married to Elisabeth before 1654, both died after 1682, lesseees on the farm Weiden. The daughter Maria was married about 1695 to Johannes Richter from Minkelfeld. After that the Richter family is the holder of Weidenhof.
Some older records:
In 1528 Thonis (=Anton) Lelmann from Kalt, resident in Mertlock, and his wife Plonich (=Apollonia) appear at the Court of Münstermaifeld in order to settle a treaty (Koblenz archive 1C/12986).
In 1589 Teyß (=Mathias) Lelman from Polch pays a rent (probably fro a lease) according to St. Willibrord's Zinsregister (Koblenz archive 1C/4578).
