Arthur Slayden and his wife Rachel (possible maiden name is Murfield) have been shown to be possible common ancestors of Sherry L. Lawrence, Larry D. Lawrence, Max Meyerhardt (Engert), Ray Burge, Michael Blackburn, and Jen Hurlbut.Autosomal DNA segment matches from tests taken by these individuals at Family Tree DNA, other DNA testing companies, or whose test results were transferred to My Heritage DNA showed matching or overlapping DNA segments in common with Sherry L. Lawrence and Larry D. Lawrence.
Additionally, genealogical information is consistent with this determination.

Larry D. Lawrence: SLL and Ray Burge, (Note: LDL does not include My Heritage results)
Ray Burge: SLL and LDL
Michael Blackburn: SLL and Jen Hurlbut
Jen Hurlbut: SLL and Michael Blackburn
Max Meyerhardt: SLL (Note: Max Meyerhardt (Engert) only includes My Heritage results. Max Meyerhardt is 1st Lawrence cousin of SLL and LDL.)
Genealogy for matching individuals:

These matches do not satisfy the requirements for Triangulated DNA Segment matches that is an indication of probable confirmation of a common ancestor couple by autosomal DNA testing. This group was not tested for matching DNA segments to each other, except for SLL and LDL.
The validity of Arthur and Rachel Slayden being the common ancestor couple for this group is suggested by Matches in Common and overlapping DNA segments, and this combination of DNA test results is considered by many genealogical DNA researchers to be close to 100% as accurate as DNA Segment Triangulation.
Incomplete DNA test results preclude these matches from being conclusive, except for Sherry L. Lawrence, who has In Common matches with three individuals other than direct family members.
The identity of Arthur and Rachel Slayden as the ancestor couple of this group conforms to the DNA standards of the Board for Certification of Genealogists, in that all individuals have genealogically established direct lines of descendancy from Arthur Slayden and his wife Rachel and have matching DNA segments. The matches do not have any genealogically common ancestor except Arthur Slayden and his wife Rachel.
This group descends through two of Arthur and Rachel's children and two different grandchildren, making the descent from a common ancestor couple more likely.
