Eugene R. Koshinski,75, of Decatur died Tuesday (Sept. 19, 2006) in his home. Eugene was born Jan. 1, 1931, in Decatur, the son of Herman Fredrick and Martha Sobieski Koshinski. He married Mary Burgard on Sept. 11, 1957 in Freeburg. Surviving are his wife; sons, Kenneth Koshinski of Decatur; Richard Koshinski and wife Elizabeth of Kileen, Texas; Keith Koshinski and wife Theresa of Decatur; daughter, Karen Andes and husband Walter of Eolia, Mo; brothers, Herman "Doc" Koshinski and wife Gloria of Neoga; Walter Koshinski of Denver, Pa; sisters, Frances Sterling of Decatur; Mary Helen Williams and husband Ted of Ripley, Tenn; Norma Porter and husband Ivan of Maroa; Barbara Williams and husband Bill of Wilson, S.C.; grandchildren Melonie, Kelly, Jamie, Rachel, Garin and Grace. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Leo Koshinski.
