Emmett "Ray" Cooper, of Kansas City, KS, passed away on Tuesday, June 15, 2016 at Shawnee Mission Medical Center at the age of 73. Ray was born the son of Ray and Emma Cooper on March 11, 1943 in Harrisburg, Arkansas. Ray was a parts man in the automotive industry for over 50 years. He leaves behind his loving wife of 47 years, Sarah Cooper of the home; beloved daughter, Sarah Ann Miller; his most precious grandson, Cameron Ray Miller of Louisburg, KS; and a sister, Linda Beth Pearrow. Ray was preceded in death by his son-in-law, Danny J. Miller. His family will miss him dearly. In lieu of a service, they would like everyone to a raise a glass in his honor to one heck of a man!
