I was adopted when I was 5 yrs old. My mothers maiden name was Irma Schmersahl. I met her 50 yrs later when she was known as Sally. I have been informed that the name is Welton not Wheaton and it is on my fathers side. I am soon to be 88 yrs old. Thank you for the link I will take a good look at it.
