Ah-Ke-Che-Lung-Un-Aqua NLN
(Abt 1760 - 1805)
She was a sister of Capt. Patterson (MehShayQuoWha). They were of the Turtle clan. Because of their customs and beliefs her son's would be in line for Chieftaincy.
Richard C. Adams was a grandson and in his writings in "The Delaware Stories, Pictures, and Writings" he also stated that she was the daughter of Chief White Eyes.
She later re-married to KikThaWeNund, also known as Chief William Anderson. He was born about 1750/57 and died about 1831. He was of the Turkey clan. He also had other children from a previous marriage: SwanNuck, Pushies (the cat), and Secondyan, who later changed it to Secondine. Before he died he mentioned having only five sons and one daughter. He was a half-breed who belonged to the family of the white trader by the name of John Anderson, who had taken a Delaware wife, who was a sister of Chief Gelelemend, also known as Captain William Henry Killbuck. Because of their customs, her sons would be in line of Chieftaincy.
With the union of AhKeCheLunUaQua and KikThaWeNund, they had the following children: Sarcoxie, who was born about 1784 and died September 17, 1876. He was also known as Captain Anderson Sarcoxie. SoSeCum died about 1825. MaCunChis, also known as MeKenGis, was born about 1789. She died about 1862. Her Indian name meant, "last born". There is much to be said about her. I have done some extensive research on her as well.
