A telegram was received by the family in Marion Monday announcing the marriage of Miss Mary Ella England to Mr. W. A. Sherrill in Birmingham.

Miss England is the daughter of Mr. Frank England or Marion and a young lady of charming character and has a host of friends. She was visiting relatives in Birmingham, the family of Mr. & Mrs. John Barbour and while the nuptials were unexpected it developed the young couple met and became lovers during Miss England's visit to Birmingham last summer.

The groom is a thrifty real estate man of Birmingham.
